From writing the script to shooting, the participants will play all the roles in the production chain of a film: director, dialogue writer, story border, sound engineer, set designer, cameraman, special effects officer...
The film workshop proposes to build up a film in group during one year, without necessarily calling upon the talent of actors since various means of "mise à l'image" are explored to convey emotions, suspense, meaning? We will see that there are many ways to film and tell stories.
Thanks to the diversity of positions, all characters can find their place in this workshop, each one with its particular talent.
So the workshop is open to all those who like to work together, and it requires a good ability to listen, react and a good amount of energy!

Internet of Things (IoT) (17510) C006

Internet of Things (IoT) (17510)

IoT stands for the Internet of Things, which refers to the growing network of physical devices, vehicles, buildings, and other items that are embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and connectivity, which enable these objects to collect and exchange data. IoT technology is closely related to electronics and communication systems as it relies on these technologies to connect and communicate with other devices and systems. This can include wireless communication protocols, as well as electronic sensors that are used to collect and transmit data. Overall, IoT allows for the creation of smart devices and systems that can communicate and interact with one another, enabling new possibilities for automation, control, and information exchange.

Children attending this course will learn to analyze a situation where there is a problem or a possible improvement of a process by automating it through one or small device(s) that can communicate with each other and even send us automated messages on every step or once certain actions have taken place. The next step will be to learn how to design, 3d print or order the necessary electronics and of course assemble and programme it.

Some examples of IoT are:

  • Turning on lights or controlling doors / windows / with sensors automatically or via a smartphone device
  • Controlling temperature, air quality or movement of a personal space like home or office
  • Developing a small robot who can monitor our home and notify us if something happens in the house in case there is movement, unauthorized access so that we can also have live video or images / sound sent to us in live time

To make "noise" means already to play music.
Rhythmic activity begins with phrases or rhythmic formulas that can be said with different tones of voice, but also by accompanying them with various body percussions (hands, thighs, feet, heads,). And then we move on to a more abstract stage in which we delete the words to keep only the rhythm that we reproduce with the voice, the body or instruments. This course offers an introduction to fundamental rhythms through nursery rhymes, songs and percussion in a playful approach. It promotes the development of concentration, listening and musical ear.

Rythmique (03401) A010

Rythmique (03401)

To make "noise" means already to play music.
Rhythmic activity begins with phrases or rhythmic formulas that can be said with different tones of voice, but also by accompanying them with various body percussions (hands, thighs, feet, heads,). And then we move on to a more abstract stage in which we delete the words to keep only the rhythm that we reproduce with the voice, the body or instruments. This course offers an introduction to fundamental rhythms through nursery rhymes, songs and percussion in a playful approach. It promotes the development of concentration, listening and musical ear.

From a very young age, your child will love learning about the pleasures of water. We offer courses of different levels. Little ones will be able to learn while playing. With our vigilant instructors, your children will learn, for example, to put their head underwater, to tread water, to swim short distances or even to float. For adults, improvement of the different strokes will be provided. This very complete sport refines the muscles, develops the shoulders, and improves breathing. All sessions take place on a site outside the school. Travel to VUB University will be done on foot (it is not far from the school). After the swimming session, we invite parents to scrupulously respect the children's pick-up time.

Yoga is the ideal practice to help your children relax and release physical and mental tension. Contrary to popular belief, Yoga is not always static. It can be very dynamic in its changes of pace as well as in its energy intensity.
The work is based on dynamic or static body sequences.
The benefits of yoga are numerous: it allows a control of the body while flexibility. It brings benefits to the mind by acting on the body and correcting its posture, removing tension, better concentration and breathing.
Postures of the Lion, the cobra, the frog... It is wonderful to see the joy of the children discovering their bodies in a different way.
