In this activity, living in harmony with mother nature is in the spotlight. Respect for the environment, the animal world, fauna and flora must be everyone's priority. To raise children's awareness, our instructors will address themes such as water, pollution, our unbridled energy consumption... In an educational and fun way, children will learn to recycle everyday's objects to give them a second life. Also, gardening sessions are planned (on days when the weather is nice). And finally a reflection on the alternatives and the gestures that we can already implement to reduce our footprints on nature.

This course offers a first approach to architecture. While having fun, the apprentice architects will design their entire architectural project by drawing their model flat, they will assemble it and decorate it with painting, collage and drawing. It will allow them to create houses born of their imagination whose decor will have no limits other than their own creativity.
In the program we learn how to use specific tools such as the lath, the square...and we learn about perspective.
This workshop favours the development of coordination, concentration, collaborative work and the ability to interpret relationships.

IoT stands for the Internet of Things, which refers to the growing network of physical devices, vehicles, buildings, and other items that are embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and connectivity, which enable these objects to collect and exchange data. IoT technology is closely related to electronics and communication systems as it relies on these technologies to connect and communicate with other devices and systems. This can include wireless communication protocols, as well as electronic sensors that are used to collect and transmit data. Overall, IoT allows for the creation of smart devices and systems that can communicate and interact with one another, enabling new possibilities for automation, control, and information exchange.

Children attending this course will learn to analyze a situation where there is a problem or a possible improvement of a process by automating it through one or small device(s) that can communicate with each other and even send us automated messages on every step or once certain actions have taken place.The next step will be to learn how to design, 3d print or order the necessary electronics and of course assemble and programme it.

Some examples of IoT are:

• Turning on lights or controlling doors / windows / with sensors automatically or via a smartphone device
• Controlling temperature, air quality or movement of a personal space like home or office
• Developing a small robot who can monitor our home and notify us if something happens in the house in case there is movement, unauthorized access so that we can also have live video or images / sound sent to us in live time

Apart from the activity for the nursery pupils, this activity takes place at the ADEPS sports center outside the school. We go there by bus. Our return will coincide with school bus departures at 3:30 pm.

This course is a space for games and experimentation. Our circus entertainers will be able to awaken the natural talents of each child mainly through juggling and balance techniques. Circus activities make it possible to increase motor powers and balance (perception, anticipation, visual attention), affective and relational capacities (performing a number, a show, etc.) as well as cognitive capacities (understanding, memorizing, ). The circus is above all a living art bringing together various disciplines from acrobatics to juggling and balancing games.

Aikido teaches defense techniques practiced without violence. The practitioner learns how to respond in an adapted way to a simulated attack by a partner.
We learn dodge techniques through precise and natural gestures. One immobilizes or unbalances the partner while using the partner's energy to project it. Aikido is distinguished by the absence of competition or combat. The practice is collaborative.
It is a very complete physical activity that contributes to the psychomotor development of the child. Like other martial arts, Aikido conveys values from oriental philosophies: courage, self-discipline, respect or humility.

Advanced level for Secondary students.

A self-defense class, this activity is based on reflexes inspired by martial art techniques such as Chinese kenpo (blocking and hitting at the same time) and Djju-Su (Shaolin Kung-fu) where it is a question of parrying attacks, seizures and strangulations.
Students learn dodges to deal with possible attacks with bare hands or weapons. They will also learn how to react with targeted strikes at the right time and avoid putting themselves in danger.
The objective is to learn self-control to overcome fear and stress in critical situations. That is why we work on the techniques until they are acquired so that they can be applied when necessary.
The course will also be complemented by fall and projection techniques.
